A freethinker is a person who forms beliefs and opinions based on evidence, logic and reasoning. As such, a freethinker will change their beliefs and opinions in light of new evidence or new interpretations of evidence No one can be a freethinker who demands conformity to a bible, creed, or messiah. To the freethinker, revelation and faith are invalid, and orthodoxy is no guarantee of truth.
As a group, we meet frequently and discuss our collective goals as well as individual ideas. Most meetings are simply social get-togethers that provide a forum for like-minded conversation. Although we are all similar minded, we are diverse. Our many viewpoints inspire healthy discussions and debates about religion, philosophy, politics, and much more. When you come to a meeting you will be free to engage as little or as much as you want. While we meet as a complete group, we often break apart into smaller groups and have separate discussions.
